Being the big fan of NPR - most of the times my Grey Honda Civic - is auto tuned to 90.4 FM.

It was Saturday morning - and the Wait Wait!!! and Peter was on full throttle.
Love that prg, for one both political parties have a good chance getting a nice jab.

This week- Wait wait moment highlight was "California"

The show is abt completing a phrase based on current affairs of the week- Say - e.g - It was announced 90,000 American can die of .......
Participant says - Swine Flu.

There is this nice talk which goes on based on that - so this week one of the question was - (pardon my rephrasing what I heard - wish I had a pen with me then)

In California - to control the increasing squirrel population, the local authorities decided to do.........-
"Dart the female squirrels with a shot of birth control "

And there began this nice - talk

Why don't they jst get the Beverly hills hillbillies -to shoot them down -
reply - "ohhh no -its California"
(tht was a good jab)

And the jab to follow jst abt knocked me off and i was rolling with laughter.

" they prepared a post it size brochure- and gave it to the squirrels- n told them -
lets talk about the Nuts"

Human Rights

After the much hyped MJ's death- or murder as you may call it,guess the 3rd most talked abt topic in the media - is the CIA's interogation techiques.

To me its plain simple - Who cares about human rights of the ppl who kill a thousand on a whim - cause of their religion or jst cause they have no concious.

Do these ppl deserve any rights to begin with- when their acts so -out there on " shocking -morality richter scale of 1000 or more!!

Got to hand it over to Mr.VP on this. I keep asking myself - ummm would I have batted a eyelid - If I were the CIA!! - the answer is point blank NOOOOOO.
